Love working with Zoisa! Very achey afterwards which I take as an excellent sign of reawakening channels that have long been dormant, or misused. Retraining muscles, after accident, and reminding my body of its innate capacities is ultimately rewarding.

I feel like a brand new second hand man of 83 years.
I usually wake up and have to strap for my back support to help me do my exercises. I then have it on for most of the day. After a seated back, neck, shoulder and arm massage from Zoisa. I got up with no pain and did not need to put on my back support belt to do my exercises. It was a great feeling I can wiggle my waist, do the twist like chubby checker and feel like a spring chicken.
I wish Zoisa was over in cherry hill, New Jersey more often. I would book a massage with her every week.

Zoisa is outstanding at massage; I have been seeing her bi-monthly for several years now. Her ability to accurately pinpoint and treat areas that cause pain and restrict mobility is remarkable. Having done that she will give precise advice about how to follow this up with stretch and exercise. With Zoisa’s help in a combination of massage and pilates I have overcome potentially debilitating and lifelong problems, keeping at bay any new ones that the aging process inevitably brings.
The advantage of regular massage is that any new muscular/skeletal problems can be dealt with at an early stage and good mobility maintained. For example, following a recent fracture I was mobilised much more quickly reducing any potential knock on effects. Lymph drainage/ circulation is much improved, not to mention the incomparable feeling of wellbeing following massage!

I was advised by a medical professional to start Pilates to help maintain my back strength.I have been attending sessions of the Arc and Chair class weekly now for over 4 year. My back is not only stronger, but my general strength and posture is much improved. The classes are always varied and Zoisa always takes the time to correct and advise every individual in the session. Whatever the ache or pain I can guarantee leaving the class feeling stretched, relaxed and so much better.
I highly recommend her, and she has helped my mum’s back and hip pain too.

121 sessions really work for me, as I am able to focus on areas of tension or strain in my body, and Zoisa can tailor a session to address these. We can also work on longer term aims to build strength and flexibility. Zoisa has taught me to tune in to my body, and the chronic neck and shoulder pain I used to get is no longer a continual problem.

I am coming up to 50 next year and I am stronger and fitter than I was in my 20’s! I put this down to my twice weekly personal training sessions with Zoisa. Combining weight and strength training with cardio workouts.As a keen runner these sessions have help me greatly improve my style and speed. I also took part in a Marines Commando 10k challenge this year and Zoisa prepared me for the stamina and techniques needed to complete the obstacles; I finished in 2ndplace.Loving my 1 to 1 workouts with Zoisa improving strength and muscle tone with each session! Taking 1 to 1 sessions I am able to tailor my workouts to target the specific areas of my body that need toning and strengthening.
Zoisa’s attention to detail and knowledge of exactly what I need to do to maintain and improve my fitness has greatly helped with my mental and physical wellbeing. Thanks to her expertise I have been able to increase my running speed and embark on new challenges such as abseiling and climbing. All this is making my 50th Birthday next year not seem quite as daunting, I feel ready for anything!

The general Pilates mat class and MELT Pilates class I do with Zoisa complement each other really well. MELT is wonderful for supporting the larger-scale work of the mat class. It teaches you to pay close attention to the way that your body structure works and moves, not least the essential work done by the parts of you between the big muscles that tend to get neglected. I’m always amazed at how my lopsidedness and areas of tension and heaviness have balanced out when we check in with our bodies at the end of the class, and this carries through to the general mat work, optimising its benefits. Zoisa’s care and attention to detail with each of us is great too.
